horse riding and we are on a horse. This is me

is really long and it goes right around
Sonshine Ranch. My horse was tall
and hard to get on. The next day we

The bush walk gone BAD

THE BUSH WALK GONE BAD!
On Monday 26th August my class room13 and room 20 went on a bush walk at mangamangeroa native reserve. It was quiet boring and we had to trudge through mud and puddles and up stairs and down stairs but then things got intresting. Halfway through the walk,or you could say at least 45 mins through,a parent teacher helper slipped and did something to his knee. Later, and I mean much much later,a Westpac helicopter came and picked him up on a stretcher to the hospital. That night it was on the news because the people in the helicopter worked for him.
My dad, the best in the world!
MY DAD, THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!!
Hi, I'm B.A.M and my dad is absolutely fab-tastic. He is a great breakfast cook (although he may not be the best at morning wake up calls)and he works very very hard, and strives his best to complete his work right. He loves to build, fix and create things, especially from wood, rope and wheels. He even built us a go-kart. He likes to play sport (and sadly watch it too. Yawn.) such as cricket, rugby, bikng and frizbee. Many of his jobs were to do with computers and he is an ICT expert. He is utterley amazing and there are many other things I could write but I will wrap it up with saying he is great at hugs. Happy Fathers Day Dad!

my favorite things in school.
Something I love about school is writing because you get to put your imagination into your stories and then you over-flow with ideas and then you scribble down each one into one great story... except in recounts. Recounts are the things that totally bug me in writing because nothing can be so incredibly exciting and amazing that you have to write it into a story.
The thing that bugs me the most in school is maths. I just think its boring because you cant put your imagination and adjectives into numbers. Heres an example: fantastic 5! NO! that sound ridiculous.

my amazing week
Hello! If you have been reading another few posts on this blog, you might have found that some year 6 children from my school have gone to Kawau island camp. Well, unfortunately I am a year 5 so I could not go on that camp, so while they were away I was at a class called room 14, with a teacher who's class i have not been in before. On the first day we did a little bit of schoolwork and some other things. On the second day we started history which i LOVE but unfortunately I had to go to a choir practise for the entire day. It was sort of boring because we sang the same song over and over again to learn it well and I really would've loved to learn history. On the third day I did a science experiment with my class. First part of it was putting chocolate in orange juice, coke, milk, and water. Surprisingly there was no reaction for any. Then we took another glass of each one and popped a mentos in each one... the coke went boom and fountained up everywhere. On the fourth day we did some more science but more history about cavemen and even before them. On the fith day we made mothers day cards. Mine was orange with a purple cover and in dot writing wrote 'happy mothers day mum'. Inside the card the message was why she was special to me. What a full on week i had!

magic puppets
B.A.M - K.K
Me and K.K. are making a dwarf puppet out of our bodies.
it was hard putting the clothes together to try and make it look like a person.
I was wearing my jacket over K.K. head but i was wearing it back to front myself and she had her arms in the shorts and her hands in the socks with shoes on top.
i was at the bottom of B.A.M she was killing me i was getting very squashed and it was stuffy up B.A.M. jacket she was wearing!

fun, tiring 5 weeks
My first 5 weeks of school have been fun but tiring. Week 1/2 my class did a maths task which we had to see how far we can throw, bat,sling-shot water-balloons,paper balls and tennis balls. Week 3 we held assembly and the songs we sang were 'eye of the tiger' and 'feel inside'. Week 4 we had year 5 camp whch was TOTALLY EPIC and most of those things were slightly nerve wracking. Week 5 we had a swiming carnival and we did really weird and awesome relays, like piggy backs and pushing the ball with your nose. Those have been my first few weeks and i really enjoyed them but I need a break!
