Marae trip

Last Monday our class room and room 20 went on a trip to a Marae next to edge water college. When we arrived we did a Waiata and made our way to the kitchen to have some kai which was cookies and juice. After we had our kai we got seperated between two activities. Our classroom's first activity was personal  kowhai whai designs that reflected our family, and our second was in the main room. We admired and drew some of the carvings and the tukutuku designs/patterns. when we left we said a prayer and got wished a safe trip home. I was sad to leave
