I woke up at my house thinking YES it is camp but the sad thing is I had to wait for more than a hour because I WOKE UP AT 4.30 that shows how excited I was. I got to the hall at 7.00 and I saw all my friends and Mrs Fernandes BIG teddy bear, and we finally got on the bus with Emily on my side and I was ready to go. Aaeeeeeeee a tree has fallen down I thought "well there is nothing to worry about" but, 5 minutes later finally that felt like 5 years.We got to Sandspit on to the ferry we go, and I felt a bit queasy. After we got there the very first thing we did at Kawau is a big walk on Killer Hill. I did the confidence course. I faced my fear and well it wasn't really a fear. I was the first person on. We had a chicken roast and apple crumble that was nice. Then bivuac building: that wasn't my favourite but I saw alot of team work there. KAYAKING wow that is one of my FAV things. There are big waves. We had to go over and we went to SURVIVAL ISLAND. Sailing was  also my fav but we didn't get the right day and wind.

year 6 camp

On the 6th of May to the 10th of May the year 6's went for camp at Kawau Island.
We had so much fun but the weather was not the best only one day was sunny. But it was
awesome. We got split up into 5 different activity groups.
On Monday we went to school, put the luggage in the buses and got in.
It took 2 and a half hours but we did it we got to Sandspit
and from there to Kawau Island was the sea; we took a ferry that was only half an hour.
We got to the camp site, unpacked the luggage and and put it in our cabin. On Tuesday was the sunny
day. Our group did sailing first then was morning tea, after was kayaking then was lunch last but not least
was confidence course.
On Wednesday we waled and walked to the famous Mansion House.
It is where GovernorGgrey lived but it is now a museum.
Then Thursday came along. That is when we did the rest of the activities.
Our group did archery first then bivuac building.
Friday came and we left. That was my year 6 camp.

The Robo-lot

Once upon a time in Minecraftia,there was an Enderman called Bart,a Skeleton called Bob and a Zombie called Dave. They all had jobs,Bart worked at a pub called O'Davids,Bob was a scientest and Dave was a Professional Pig Racer (PPR)

Part 1: The Failure

It was a big day,Dave was in the diamond cup. At O'Davids pub Creepers,Zombies,Blazes,Endermen,Silverfish and Skeletons were watching the race. Bart said "where are all the Spiders ?". A Zombie anwered "Oh,the're doing a parkour map with the Wither Skeletons" Bart replied "What about the Cave Spiders ?". The Zombie said "the're playing with a cactus,I think they are dead now". Bart replied "ookaaay". Meanwhile Bob was attempting to make Ocelots born with armour. The birth detecting machine made lightning go everywhere. When Dave was about to win suddenly another racers pig got struck by lightning. It turned into a half Pig,half Man and half Zombie (Zombie Pigman). Lightning struck the Endermen at O'Davids besides Bart. But the experiment failed ...

Part 2: Paralyser

Dave ran away,drove home and had a potion of harming (heals Zombies,Skeletons,Zombie Pigmen and Wither skeletons). Meanwhile Bart was standing in the pub with his mouth dropped staring at all the teleporting Endermen and the glowing supercharged Creepers. Suddenlly Steve the Human dug into the underground pub. Everything paused...
Back at the lab , Bob was standing with his hands up. There was an Ocelot , not an ordinary Ocelot he was a robot! But all he wanted to do was play. He had a metal body made of shiny diamondtel (half iron half diamond). He had chemicals in his black paws that could paralyse you. Its tail had an electric generator in it. It can deliver 200 volts if you annoy him. (Not in your mail box , but don't feel bad I wish I could have it delivered in my mail box to). He only wants to play with string.

Part 3: Gone ?

Meanwhile at Davidsons enterprises: Dave got the diamond from the race the next day. He got all 50 diamonds from 50 years of winning. (He actaully is 109 , though he is a Zombie). He made a diamond helmet , chestplate , leggings and boots. He also made a diamond sword , pickaxe , shovel , hoe and axe for emergency. Meanwhile the Ocelot was thinking "Is that my food bowl , no that is , that , no that". Then he thought "Why is my food bowl empty ?". Bob was standing right beside him. He called the Ocelot 'Myrtle'. Bob was listerning to Myrtle saying "Mee mow meeeooooww prrr hiss prrood". Bob replied "A Newt went up your nose ?". Myrtle hissed. Bob said "I've got it , you want to see an itallian cook". Myrtle hissed again and pointed to his mouth. Bob said "Ahh , you want food !".Myrtle said "Prrrrt". Bob went to go and pork and fish for Myrtle. He said "You stay right there , I'm getting some food for you".

Part 4: Lead by a Human ?

When Bob came back there was a gaping hole in the wall , his Chickens and catnip experiment was gone , all that was left was feathers and bones , no catnip and his longest string in the world experiment was being tugged outside the lab , obviosly it was Myrtle. Meanwhile at O'Davids Steve said "Okay so I don't know why I'm here , anyway , big news an evil robot Ocelot that I call a 'robo-lot' is on the loose. It said to be ev...". An Enderman said "Are you the daily news reporter or something" Steve replied "Please no interuptions , so continuing , It is said to be evil from catnip. He was created from Bob Parkourman. So if we want to defeat the Robo-lot , we will do it together". The whole pub said "Together". Steve continued "Creepers , set up TNT traps Throughout the city. Zombies , be prepared to battle with your leader , Dave Sheeprazor. Skeletons get prepared with your bows on Pigs and your leader is Jason Archer. Wither Skeletons follow the Zombies. Blazes , set up fire cannons  in old buildings. Ghasts , hide behind buildings and attack when Zombies do. Silverfish , dig tunnels with Endermen. Spiders , work with me". When Myrtle came , he wiped out the whole army exept Dave. Steve said "Okay change of plans , get in the time machine". They went back to the start of the diamond cup. Steve said "Ok a few minutes back". They went a few minutes back.

Part 5: Goodbye Kitty
Then they saw themselves come out of another time machine

term 3 2013

My first 2 weeks back at school in 2013 3 term.

When I  got back I raced to my class, put my bag down and  played computer.

The first week we started on our speeches.

Then  we needed to do our cue cards.

It took me longer because I put my whole speech on, not just bullet points. I had a terrific start back at  maths. I love my spare time because I get to read for ages.

This year I got chosen to help Cliffard at the book fair on Monday.

Some people have been mean and silly but I ignore them. I play alot of handball with my best friend, K.H. School is a great place and lots of fun. I hope to have a great rest of the year :)

MY BIRTHDAY HOLIDAY

In the holiday it was my birthday I was so excited for that wonderful amazing special day to come. I had goose bumps  every where. Then that day came and I woke up to the well known song Happy Birthday. It was one of the best times of my life. I got up and I opened up all my presents and I was so happy I got what I wanted. But one thing that I wanted the most I didnt get. But I got a PS3. It was ok but it wasn't what I wanted. Infact it was what my brother wanted. Then again he opened it like it was his and he played on it. I didnt do any thing to do with MY PS3. I was still happy. I got a monster high doll the Kit Kittredge movie by American Girl and the Julie book Collision. It was so cool  but the exciting part hasn't come until now: for my birthday I went to X TREME in Botany and I invited most of my friends in my class. We had so much fun we  went bowling and I came 4th place but thats ok I still had fun

My EPICLY AWESOME WEEKEND

In the weekend I went ice skating and had such fun with my friend R. O. N for his birthday and we all enjoyed it. I got R a Botany Downs gift voucher where it works everywhere except the Warehouse. I met this awesomely kind guy called J and we played and even spent the whole time together and I was playing with him. I got just above my back on the solid cold ice and trust me it hurt a lot. Also my dad pre-ordered Skylanders Swap Force with new Skylanders and you can swap their abilities.

MR.J is a caring man he's the best caretaker that I know and the only one. But he also does some stuff really helpful stuff that's not on his job description, he does it because he cares for everyone. Well makes some wonderfully fine muffins.

Mr J

Mr J you a wonderful personality and a pure warm heart that cares for both the children  and staff at our school.Thank you for coming in at your time and warming up our classrooms so we don't get sick .Your kindness and hospitality is and and was lovely to encounter and experience .Our bathrooms have been a mess on many occasions and it is good to know that you will be there to help.You are a much loved grandfather that we treasure mostly in our hearts .We hate that you are leaving our school but we are  sure that you will have a good time.

To Newmarket And Back In The Holidays

In the holidays me and JC went to Homai train station , watched a few trains and then caught one to Westfield train station to wait for the next train. While we were there we saw 4 rare trains and engines. Then we caught the train Newmarket bound  to Newmarket. At Newmarket we saw another rare train. On the way back we went past Westfield. 

MEI'S TEARM

In the holidays I went to a BBQ and had so much fun.I went with my friend and her family. We had such a great fun we played a lot outdoor games it was splendid.We started the fire and that was pretty cool.For our lunch we had chicken that was burnt but at the good side it was delicious

Then this week Mr J is leaving super sad he is like the best caretaker in the hole world.

Mr J is a wonderful caretaker and i mean it when i say care-taker because he helps children whenever trouble arises, such as getting balls down from roofs or keeping children safe at the roads. He bakes the BEST muffins (lemon and sugar flavour)  and he is always looking out for the environment. Not to mention he cleans out bins and toilets with his bare hands, jobs a lot of people would not think for a minute to do. He mows the lawns and sometimes he does all of our huge field including the hill and around the sandpits and trees, and he clips the rickety rackety poky outy tree branches. In the middle of winter he comes to the classrooms around six o clock and warms up the classes. We are really sad hes leaving and we are going to miss him real bad.

Gymnastics competion

In 2 weeks I have a gymnastics competition, we are going with school. We all have been working very hard for it and I hope everything goes well and I get into the champions of champions. It's very exciting because I really like gymnastics and I have been waiting for this for almost the whole year. Wish us luck.

 

Mr J

He dedicated a full 30 years of blood, sweat and tears to our school. He worked, cared, loved and promised all of those years to our school. He is a best friend to me promising time, effort and strong friendship. Some call him the janitor, the caretaker, the man with the lawn mower but I call him grandpa.   Mr J has a pure, warm heart that cares for both the staff and students at our school. I was hopeless at rugby and I still am but Mr J put so much effort into giving me the motivation to try my hardest and put more elbow grease into the game. I'm the only the girl out of 5 kids and Mr J seems to find a way to make that seem like it's a good thing. Mr J is like my grandpa and no matter where he is, he will stay that way. I will miss him while he's in retirement.

My swimming meet

In the holidays I went to an amazing swimming event. It was held for two days [Saturday and Sunday] at Lloyd Elsmore. On Saturday I did two main events they were 50 meter freestyle and 50 meter backstroke and then on Sunday I did 100 meter freestyle and 50 meter breaststroke. [50 meter means two lengths of the pool and 100 meters means four lengths of the pool.] I got three personal bests witch were 50 meter freestyle ,breaststroke and 100 meter freestyle. For my backstroke I was two seconds slower!!

Unfortunately MR J is leaving to retire so when you see him if you have time say nice things to him and after give him a nice big warm hug. BUT DON'T THINK ABOUT THE NEW JANITOR BECAUSE YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO HE IS YET . Thank you Mr J for cleaning up disgusting thing witch I will not explain baking muffins and working at botany downs for 30 YEARS and most of all being our AWESOME MR J THE JANITOR.
