Your soul is like a door way to a new person, the guy who doesn't talk may be the loudest person, the weak guy might be the man who can lift a car, the kitchen disaster might be a culinary god and the child who bully's other children may be being bullied himself. Look behind the door, not at it.

The little monster

One gloomy wet and damp day I was working in my workshop trying out an experiment for the whole world. I thought to myself there is know way this could fail this time. [all the others failed]

Hello my name is Sophie I am 9 yrs of age, I am as genital as a kitten and I will never give anything up. My favorite thing to do is swimming because I am a very active person that will try  any sport apart from rugby or any thing like that.

  I was making a monster that had 2 eyes, 4 arms on each side and he was an amazing student/ friend to be with for you or for me to hang out with. He also cared for people and had an outstanding sense of hummer. his name was going to be Squiggles.

BOOM! my little pot  of green slime had come alive. I was so surprised I nearly burst into my soft plump chair. The monster had become a real live green monster standing exactly face to face in front of me. I was more  happier than anyone in the whole world because my plan had worked.

Now my little green eyed monster would do nearly anything for me but one day I was at the shops we were buying some groceries then one moment he was there and then one minute later he wasn't there at all because he was probably interested in something and he wanted to get it so he decided to walk over to that thing. I've never found him ever since that day.

One day I saw something on the news it looked like my little monster that I had made. It said the monstrous monsters name on the bottom I screamed. His name was Squiggles. I was so happy to see my little Squiggles again.Plus he was all in great shape too.

The next day I went to go fetch him at the SPCA I was so happy to see him and he was so happy to see me. Then we all lived together in the cottage beside the city sky-tower, it was such an incredible site.

I have a great friend. His initials are LB. He goes to this school. He is a great and loyal friend. He loves dinosaurs and helps people when he can. He try's to be nice to everyone even if they do'nt want to do the same. He is friend I could never hope to have. He always smiles at me and we do lots and lots of things together, such as the wearable art. We are making a costume for the two of us. I am lucky to have such a great friend.

My Mum is special  to me because she cares for me and when I am sick she makes me laugh by dancing and singing even though she is not good at it.She makes me laugh and she makes me cry. She is the best mum in the whole world .

Maungamaungaroa walk

On Monday 26th August 2013, we went on the tiring hour each way Mangemangeroa walk.

We started at an old rusty barn with only one portaloo there.

We went through the lush bush , beside the dirty swamp , up/down steep slopes and over damp bridges.

During the walk one of the parents slipped over and a Westpack helicopter came to the rescue.

The accident was on the news.

My Dad rocks because  he has a wonderful personality and he keeps a roof over our heads. He loves my family to bits and he makes yummy dinners for me. He helps me with homework and many other things. I love K.B my dad.

the trip to the marea

Last week room 13 and 20 went to the Marae it was really fun. We were greeted by a waiata and we went  in. First we said something back to them. Then we had refreshments. Cookies and juice. Then we did pastel and crayon drawings. Then we copied some of the patterns from the carving. They were so beautiful, next we went on a nature walk. It was tiring, and there was alittle accident one of the parent helpers fell. The teachers had to call paramedics the parent helper had to be helicoptered out.

My friend is G.T at my school in room 14. She is a very funny person because when I go to her house she always acts silly and makes me crack up. She is tall, friendly, she has long brown hair and she is really nice.

The trip to the Marae.

I waited just a little bit more time after 10 minutes and then someone finally came to greet us. The people were called Fiyahelen and Fiyalola. Next we went into the warm, cozy marae and J.S had to make a welcoming speech. Then we went to the kitchen to have a bite to eat. After that we went to different rooms to do some activities. Then there was a goodbye speech and then the bus came and we left.

My dad works in a bank and I always demand money but he never gives it to me.

On Sunday it was Fathers day.Although my dad didn't get much he was

cool about it and he still did the chores. He's an awesome dad to have.

My parents are the best. They cook, clean and feed me and my brother. They have been taking care of me for 10 years and my brother for 14. They put the food on the  table and earn the money for the family. They try really hard to take care of us and provide for the family. My mum is really fun. And Happy Fathers day Dad.

 

The bush walk gone BAD

THE BUSH WALK GONE BAD!

On Monday 26th August my class room13 and room 20 went on a bush walk at mangamangeroa native reserve.It was quiet boring and we had to trudge through mud and puddles and up stairs and down stairs but then things got intresting. Halfway through the walk,or you could say at least 45 mins through,a parent teacher helper slipped and did something to his knee. Later,and I mean much much later,a Westpac helicopter came and picked him up on a stretcher to the hospital.That night it was on the news because the people in the helicopter worked for him.

Hi, I have the nicest dad in the world. The first reason :when we go out my dad always takes me out when I come vist Australia. My dad let me go to Fiji for two weeks. My dad  never forgets me. I always love to visit him so I can see my brother. Once I asked my dad if they named my step brother Hunter because when he grows up he will be a hunter .I  love my dad as much as he loves me and the one and last thing I wanna  say is:

My sister  is a very good worker she is a very good roll model even though she is a teenager she is very different to other teens.She does not like make up.She has no lipstick.She doesn't hang out with her friends.Always asks mum before she buys something.I love her so much because she makes stuff for me and how I know she loves me well she always stays on my side well sometimes.She loves me and she calls me baby how embarrassing.But I love her to bits and will never forget her.

MY DAD, THE BEST IN THE WORLD!!!
Hi, I'm B.A.M and my dad is absolutely fab-tastic. He is a great breakfast cook (although he may not be the best at morning wake up calls)and he works very very hard, and strives his best to complete his work right.He loves to build, fix and create things, especially from wood, rope and wheels. He even built us a go-kart. He likes to play sport (and sadly watch it too. Yawn.) such as cricket, rugby, bikng and frizbee. Many of his jobs were to do with computers and he is an ICT expert. He is utterley amazing and there are many other things I could write but I will wrap it up with saying he is great at hugs. Happy Fathers Day Dad! 

My mother

She helps me when I am down, she believes in me when I don't and she smiles just to show me how. That's right, I'm talking about my mother. I get looked after by her and get showed simple acts of kindness and generosity such as thanking someone or cheering them up when they are down. She wears the pants in my house and pays the bills. I love her more than any other woman on the surface of the earth.
